What a beautiful melody! What beautiful piano playing! What beautiful words! Thanks for contributing to the riches of worship offered to the King and for letting us share.

Crystal,

Once again, a beautiful rendering of ideas that keep the universe on their course. Lovely piece. Yes, we can work some of the words. The concept and spirit of the piece lives and breathes, and resonates with the history we've studied.

A great culmination to the last weeks.

Thank you.

Crystal - an excellent synopsis of many ideas. Well done.

Liminal spaces are everywhere it seems - the values we attach to them determines if they become a gift or an anchor.

Thanks for lifting your voice.

Wow thanks, that's so encouraging! You never know when you write a song if you are the only one who will get it...thank you so much. It's great to hear that you can worship through it. That's what it's there for!

Crystal,
This moved me so much. You've captured such heartfelt worship in your vocal and playing, I love it!!! I felt like bursting into song with such passion as you raised your vocal toward the end of each verse and into the chorus. Seriously, it's awesome!
'We praise You with all of creation
We praise You with all its frustration'
These two lines capture so beautifully the tension creation exists in, between the now and the restoration that will come soon. This is something that I thought a lot about on the course from reading Wright and you've expressed this so well. i can now sing it and express it through song in worship. Thank you so much for this song,
Greig

Great work here, Crystal. Strong and important in every way. Could it be that this is what is meant in the Psalms when God says, "have I not said, you are gods...."

It seems strange and out of place, but is a declaration not of the deity of human beings, but of the greatness of the nature of His imagebearers.

If the garden had remained unscathed, can we begin to imagine our shared life on this good earth?

I agree about the Mandela quote being a favourite.

Crystal, the quote sits so well with the theme of being fulyl human, along with all you have amplified about finding what brings us joy. You have delightfully kept that integrated with community and growing together in that discovery.

What good is finding joy if it can't be shared? Thanks for such a 'fully alive' post!

Crystal, thanks for the Mandela quote-that's one of my favorite quotes of all time. I like how you combined being fully alive and community in this post. I don't that either can exist fully without the other. We need community to help us become alive and we need to be more and more ourselves in order to benefit the community.
